#File uploads

Dave,
1. Get into the forum in terminal mode (either with O or <ESC> to
remain
online in an automatic run.
2. type LIB 9 at the Forum ! prompt.
3. type UPL at the Lib 9 ! prompt.
4. follow the menu prompts………….<grin>.
Now at the prompt for the file description, you can either type it in or
upload an ASCII file with the page up key. Either way you have to end it
with a /EXIT as the first thing on the last line. You must end all the
lines with a return too, or the editor will hang.
You can also upload ASCII files to the keyword and title prompts. These end
with the first return.
There have been a few changes to the description file, it will now take
about 550 characters, up from the old limit of 465. Keywords are limited to
10 and a character limit of 17. In the keyword list there are several
non-allowed words, like conjunctions and stuff. Titles are limited to 49
characters.
(for a small fee we can do it for ya……….<grin>)
With the increased traffic concerning importing ACAD files to word
processors and publishing programs, I think this little utility would see
some action.
Joe,
Thanks!
I have made my first attempt with the instructions left by Ken.
I hope it came through ok?
