I suppose that I should have left a little more information so here is some
that may be relevant. CPU = 486/25 clone stand alone station, DOS 5.0,
Memory Manager = QEMM386 V6.01, FILES=40, AutoCAD R11c2, NEWDX used to
update ACAD.EXE. That one other thing that may be relavant is tha it does
not happen all the time. I have not noticed any adverse affect from this
error except that when it occurs AutoCAD does not erase all of the
temporary files.
We have found that in R11c2 w/AME especially, that this type of FILES error
as well as the "to many FILES open" error is eliminated if we use
"FILES=55".
