David,
You don't live in Michigan by any chance do you? The local 4-year college
has an old Tek plotter that I tried to set up for use by AutoCAD a long
time ago. I'm not familiar with the model number but the machine is a flat
bed plotter that uses a HPIB, or GPIB as Tek called it, connector on it.
The first thing I'd check is if you'd be able to hook it up to a computer
running AutoCAD. The only solution I found was to purchase an H/GPIB board
for the PC to at least be able to make a connection. Unfortunately the
$500.00+ price of the board hosed the deal and the plotter has been
collecting dust ever since. I don't recall if Tek built their own plotters
or simply renamed somebody elses. If the latter is true you might have an
easier time scaring up a driver for it.
Good Luck, Dennis
