Direct Marketing the ultimate game!
Well I guess we know what users think of direct marketing now. Very
interesting process I must say.
I am alsways insulted by these stupid letter which pile up in my mail box
and I could not understand that people would go for that just like the
washing and car commericals on television.
I love the soft sell, somebody has to prove to me that he understands my
problem and then make my life easy after that. But this time we did a hard
sell mailing and we fell on our face. The autocad world is fortunatly to
intelligent to go for this.
So sorry everybody we send the mailing to and which did not like it, the
intention was good, just tell the automanager users we have a new great
program but the way you say things is everything. Developers outhere, do
NOT listen to direct marketng consultents when it comes to the content of a
letter. Follow your gut feel, write like you want to be written too.
We will improve!
