Jeff, We've used "GRAB" from WordPerfect and the best of all is Pizzaz Plus. This program is real powerful and lets you remap the colors to grey scales (for printing) or hatch pattern or both. It also allows clipping and file translation. We used it when we wrote our users manuals for out AutoCAD products. We were able to "cut-out" just the pull-down menus for instance as well as the entire drawing screen. In search of truth, justise and the AutoCAD Way <g>!!… Ang

David, Windows itself is "supposed to" be able to screen capture to the clipboard. If your running extendend mode, you can capture just an application window (so they say … I havn't tried it yet). I'm supprised that someone hasn't named one of these packages "screen trap". You could have a "cute little graphic" showing a monitor traped in a "bear trap" by its cords (a few sparks … a little frayed insulation). Mother's milk leads to everything (G Carlin) … Ang
