project:
(1) The Book as a source of information
(2) The book as a valuable artifact
I'm a volunteer at the Smithsonian, and I will tell you straight off I am
reluctant to do *ANYTHING* that puts an artifact at risk. I want to know
more about why your books are classified as "rare".
I'll be in the office most of Friday (9:00-5:00 EST) and all day Monday and
Tuesday.

Thanks for the reply Bob. I'll call you and explain what the idea is.
Still very much in the infancy stage right now. I just want to see if it is
feasable and reasonable for me to even attempt this.
