I'm not sure if it runs under Windows as such but when you install the
software,it does set up a Program Group with icons for running under
Windows. I think that it runs as a DOS app under Windows but someone else
may be able to clarify this.
I do notice occasional pauses during the movie display under Mammals.
This may be due to the fact that the drive only has an 8k buffer. I have
spoken to Sony and was told that an upgrade to Multimedia Specs would be
available in about 5 months but no other details were given.
