I just received my order from DAK for 10 CD caddies at $7.95 ea. Not a bad price!? The package came in a small box weighing about 1 pound via UPS ground. The UPS charge is probably just a couple of bucks. DAK charged me $30.00 for postage and handling! How can you justify this? Apparently the CD caddies aren't a bargain after all. I called customer service to see if there was some mistake but the rep simply said that it was correct and that I could send a complaint letter to President Kaplan if I wanted to. Just doesn't make sense. There are 2 Replies.

Dwight, You're way ahead of me. That's the first I've heard that we sell the caddies separately! Bryan/DAK There is 1 Reply.

Bryan, Page 2-17 of the DAK CD ROM DRIVE users guide indicates that additional caddies are available as order #5853 for $7.90 plus $3.00 P & H. That sounds like $10.90 to me! —-Dwight

Dwight, CD-ROM, Inc. in Colorado sells caddies made in US or Japan for $6 each! The price is for quantity 1 and up! I order 10 and shipping was $5 to CALIF. Their number is 303-231-9373. This is the lowest price I've seen. Though I still think it's outrageous for such a simple gadget.
