#NEC CDR-80 at DAK?

I read that DAK Electronics will be selling the NEC CDR-80 for $229. The specs are: 5.25 internal drive, SCSI controller, 64K buffer, ave. seek time is 0.5 sec, ave. data xfer rate is 150K/sec. Comments? Thanks. There are 2 Replies.

Malcom, All I can tell you is that we are closing out some NEC drives through our retail stores. These are drives we bought in too small a quantity to devote an entire page to in the catalog. Bryan/DAK There is 1 Reply.

It would figure that DAK would offer a discontinued item which is why the price is so low.
