Dear Folks; I'm having problems creating a animation. I need some help please. Let say as a example that I have one hundred frames that I want to use,and I want one object to fly through the scene for thirty frames than disappear for the rest of the animation. Than at frame twenty I want two more objects to appear for about thirty frames than disappear. At present the only way I know how to do this is scale the object's down when I don't need them, than scale them up when I need them. Is there a easyer way to hide these objects? I've tried moving to frame twenty in the keyframer than go in to the 3deditor and create my object, but they also show up on all the frames. Also I'm moving to San Luis Obispo after the first of the year, do you know if there is a 3DS user's group in the area? There is none in my area for three hundred miles. One more question than I'll leave you alone. After visiting a studio in LA, over the weekend, the studio was using Topos and sending it out to video via a targa 16+ board and viewing it on a sony trinitron monitor. I would like to be able to put my animations on tape now. Can 3DS use a targa board? If so, what is best for some one to buy. 16,24 0r32 bit. I'm having troubel finding out information about this subject. Thank you very much for any help you can provide. Sincerly Tim Kelley Crazy Horse Designs Bishop Ca

BTW if the object moves between frame 1 and 30 then go to frame 29, choose Object\Move and just click twice on the object to set a keyframe at its current position. -MM
