#DJ 550C driver

Did anybody tried the new HP DJ550C driver (Beta) for PageStream uploaded
here recently?? I tried it with no success… all the colors are not
correct… blue becomes black… red becomes blue… black becomes
yellow… etc!
Yes, the colors for the new 550C driver are in the wrong order. We'll post
a fixed driver as soon as possible. Sorry for the mixup, but we wrote the
driver from documentation without a printer to test it on.

I was very interested in buying a DJ500C a few months ago now. I saw that
you have the DJ550C. This, to my knowledge, has not been released here in
Australia yet. I was wondering if you could post a message describing the
printer and its features/performance. How many fonts? How compatible with
amiga software. Any margin problems?…like does it start printing at
exactly the top of page or is their a restriction. Just tell me
everything 😎

We haven't got that much time to fully test it yet but we can let you know
that the actual workbench driver for the DJ 500C does not see the black
cartridge while the color one is there! SoftLogic is working on a DJ550C
printer driver right now. Without a specific DJ550C printer driver, you
can not get the use of the new separate black and color ink cartdriges.
Other than that, not to many enhancements… I think It has more fonts…
I will have to check!
