In library 4… LEMDEM.LHA/Bin Bytes: 395459, 11-Nov-92 Title : Lemmings II – The Tribes Demo Keywords: LEMMINGS DEMO DMA DESIGN FUNNY This is the playable demo of "Lemmings II – The Tribes". This demo shows off several screens of the new game. The folks at DMA Design have been teaching those little guys a lot since we last saw them. There are skiers, archers, stompers, one-man bands, balloonists, and more! If you're a Lemmings fan, this demo is a "MUST GET"!!! It's got 8-way scrolling to save them! Just unlharc this to a floppy disk, and run from df0:

Hey Steve, I just tried out the Lemmings II demo, it's great! Now I know what I'm going to ask Santa for! But it should be mentioned that this demo didn't like my GVP 030' board runnin' the show. It would crash till I finally figured out that I had to revert to the 68000 CPU mode. Anyone else out there with a supercharged system should pay heed. This and the L2 Animation made me bust a gut! Your problem kinda suprises me, because I ran it on a GVP 030 board, and it worked just fine! Do you normally run SETCPU with the GVP? Glad you got it working though! I agree. This program is going to be great! Steve

Steve, I have installed WB in the 32 bit mem and boot internally. Yes I have set cpu to be the 030'. I just have to install a WB disk and boot from Df0: instead if I want this demo to run. No big deal, just a hassle. My original Lennings dosen't like the taste of my 030' either, so I select my 68000 and reboot to my lemmings disk. BTW, the game" WolfPack" doesn't work on my 030' either. It just took a little bit of trial and error. I don't think I have a problem, I installed and set-up my 030' strictly by the book. I can't stop playin' this Demo. A friend is stopping by tonight to see it. His girlfriend is hooked on the Super Nintendo version, and he's counting on getting the Dos-version. Is "Oh No More… available for MS-Dos yet? My friend has a clone and he freaks every time he sees what I can do with my Amiga. This demo will kill him. Heh,Heh,Heh… R.D.H. -on Otto'

<grin> Yeah, I noticed that the demo needs its own disk, so I'm losing heart quickly. What a bummer. –Beth
