CD Rom/ networking

I need information about Soney Laser Library CD-Rom for use in the
classroom. Anyone with information on how effective it is and ease of use
please communicate. In networking computers, what is a better network,
MAC's, IBM's or compatibles, or a mixture. I do not know much about this
kind of thing but really need to learn. If you can also name some sources
I can look up and read I would appreciate it very much./exit
Jean, I have tried Novell and other networks but for ease of use and
simplicity with using CD-ROMs I think that you should be looking at
Lantastic from Artisoft. Use IBM or compatibles. Have a look at the
Artisoft forum GO ARTISOFT and get them to send you some magazine articles.
It really is a very good networking system. As far as networking products,
look at CD-SHARE. Tom
We use a 7-drive CBIS tower unit on a Novell network, but we're reliant on
IBM to help get it running, since we don't have the technical staff,
either.

for information on networking CD-ROMs using IBM compatible computers in a
educational/classroom environment. You may be able to get a specific
reference on the Sony Laser Library CD-ROM product as well.
