Color of object casting light on another object placed behind it. ============================================= I have a RED bar expanding in length across a light cream background As the RED bar increases in length, the color of the light cream object behind it gradually acquires a reddish cast. I have adjusted the attributes on both objects not to RECEIVE or CAST shadows In the renderer box, I have set AUTOREFLECT to NO The materials however have AUTOREFLECT set to 30% How do I get rid of the "red cast" effect ? Thanks for your help. FONT defect (I think) =============== There is a problem in the SERIF regular font provided with 3d studio If you type the word "fluid" in lower case, you get an intersecting vertices error because the "f" crosses the "l" Thanks for your help

> Color of object casting light on another object placed behind it. < Not likely — 3DS does not do these kinds of reflections (casting). > As the RED bar increases in length, the color of the light cream object behind it gradually acquires a reddish cast. < Sounds like a palette problem. Are you creating FLCs? If so, create a custom palette. I think your red bar is causing your color pallete to tend towards a reddish hue. — James — Choreo Motion —
