Is the Mac CD-ROM player available as an external SCSI device or just inside the MacII vx? Anyone have one and now if it's any good. Thanks.

John: Both the Apple-labelled drive and the equivalent Sony models are available as external devices. There are also compatible SCSI models from Toshiba and other mfgrs. Rich Bowers
