I seem to have missed the original message in this thread, but assume
it's referring to NAUTILUS' Link and the fact that even when Pulse dialing
is selected, it uses Tone dialing. This is the problem I've encountered
thus far and have failed to link because of it.
Any help with this would be appreciated. Other than that, I'm very happy
with NAUTILUS. I would like to add, however, that the suggestions to
'upgrade the CD-ROM extensions driver' resulted in a tougher job than what
was expected. It took me no less than six (6) phone calls before I finally
tracked down the necessary version from a third-party vendor…I'm using a
Hitachi internal.
I had the same problem using Link. I found placing th ATP code after the
modem startup code did the trick. (Example: ATDT …. ATP) It switches the
modem back to pulse dialing.
Sorry, I double checked what I did. Put ATP before the Nautilus Number. If
you do it the other way it gives an error message.
