I'm thinking about producing cdrom disks and want opinions and comments.
My plan is to put large reference manuals on disk and use hypertext to make
it usefull. Anyone who has some experience here they'd be willing to
share?

Jerry:
Good place to get information is CD-ROM Professional magazine.
Their phone # is 203-761-1466. It covers hardware, software & CD-ROM
production facilities info.
Jerry,
Sounds like a reasonable ides<g>. We do data capture for a living,
and we get lots of strange tech manuals in the mail.
Are you in-house, or thrid party? In house folks seem to be more
likely to hypertext. Third party folk I guess are spending so much money
just to get the information at all, that bsici indexing seems to be aobut
what they cna afford.
What kind of manuals are you talking aobut?
