I have a 386 Laptop. I also have a BSR CD-ROM drive for my desk top. Is there such a thing as an adpter so I can use my drive with my portable? If not are there fully external drives for Laptops?

Bill…If your drive is a SCSI drive and your parallel port is bi-directional then the Trantor T348 is what you want. It will also work on SCSI hard drives and just about any SCSI device. Hope this helps. Larry Land 73765,605

Hi Bill. you can use any SCSI external drive with a Trantor SCSI adaptor with your Laptop or Notebook. NEC or Chinon products may satisfy your needs. TTYL GroupWare
