#CDROMS and AVI

Can anybody tell me of any CDROM titles in the works that will be using the
new AVI technology that Microsoft has come out with? Is anybody interested
in some ideas I have for new titles?

Can't say for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft's new
encylcopedia product – Encarta – has some AVI. You also might check with
the MPC Marketing Council (202/452-1600) to see if they have any inside
scoop.
And I would definitely be interested in your ideas!

The latest edition of Nautilus for Windows (Volume 2-12) has some AVI
files and a runtime version of Video For Windows to play them. It also
upgrades the Window 3.1 Media Player to play AVI files. It works well with
my new Mitsumi CRMC-LU005S MPC compatible drive. Very smooth video with
perfectly synchronized sound.

Thanks, Tom. I have that edition of Nautilus and haven't had the time to
look at it yet. Will do so as soon as I can.
