We are capturing a gaited data stream from multiple sources, so that three of a possible six image aspects of the data can be displayed and synchronized. Would you merge the three bitmaps in memory prior to display or attempt 3 synched anims?

That depends on the processor speed, and whether you'd be able to merge abd blit fast enough on each… I'm sure this question isn't easy to answer.

One thing here Rob.Adpro and Imagemaster(I think IM does it too,hard to tell with Reams of Paper I have to print out for upgrades) both allow you to reset Aspect Ratio so that shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, Imagemaster lets you reset aspect ratio. Also DPI. –Ben …via AutoPilot
