VIDEO POST

Having problems in video post rendering. In the first queue I have a TGA image
that runs for 90 frame an then fades out. In the next queue, I have the KF
scene which in the video post starts at frame 91. When I render the scene, the
KF scene actually starts at frame 91 instead of frame 0. Do I need to re-define
the sequence of the KF scene to start at frame 91 instead of frame 0 in the
Keyframer?
Dale, Yes you'll need to add keys at the beginning of your KF sequence if you
want everything to be still until frame 90. Also, you said your first entry ran
for 90 frames then faded out. If you have an entry running from 0-90 with
fade-out as the transtion, the fade is linear – ie. it will be at 50% at frame
45. If you want the image to run for 80 frames then fade out over 10 you'd
place the bitmap in the first entry going from 0-80 with no transition. Then
place the same bitmap in the next location but place it so it goes from 80-90
with fade-out. Then place your KF scene. If you're making a flic it would be
easier to just make the bitmap into a 3 second .flc with animator pro. If
you're going to video you could just lay down 3 seconds of the same frame
instead of having it take up 90 frames worth of space. Anyway, I just find it
odd that you're trying to have the KF scene entry start at frame 90. Oh well.
