(I'm afraid the tail of message 27941 got scrambled. Repeating…)
Is anyone else besides me having trouble getting 3DS 2.01? I've had it
on order since it was first anounced on this forum. My dealer says
Autodesk is just real slow. Should it take a MONTH?? What can I do?

You've asked a number of times, so here's an answer. 3D Studio 2.01
upgrades have been taking approximately a week by UPS Ground (we're in Los
Angeles, which is approx. 2 days UPS). I don't know if there's now any
sort of QA or Shipping hold due to fixes anticipated for 2.01.

We have upgraded over 40 copies of 3ds 2.0 to 2.01, average time 2 weeks.
Is your dealer's credit good with Autodesk? <g>

You're not alone, I've been waiting for about 4 weeks now for 2.01. My
dealer mentioned that the next version is probably holding up the order. I
just got 2 IPAS packages a couple of days ago, so I can sympathise with
you.

I ordered 2.01 and AniPro 1.3 the same day 4 weeks ago – yet I hear
others are getting a 2 week turnaround. My dealer is very small (in
volume, that is!). It makes me wonder if the big guys get what they want
right away and the rest of us wait. Oh well, my mother never told me life
was going to be fair! <G>
