A friend wants to sell his A2091 SCSI card. It contains 2 megs of ram and has a 40 meg Quantum hard drive attached to it. The board and hard drive are about 2 years old. I don't know what version the roms are, but they are not the most recent ones. What can he expect to get for it? Thanks in advance

$60 for the controller, maybe a hundred for the drive.

You're forgetting that there's 2 Meg on the board, That would be $80 alone.

you're right, I missed that, but I don't know if you can get $40/meg.

Michael, There are a couple of ads in Amiga World for the 2091 for around $50.00 new, so with 2 megs of Ram @ $40.00 ea. Thats $130 new for the Ram and 2091. …Steve On AutoPilot! (at last)

Then it sounds like a good deal to me! Sorry if my comment(s) misled anyone!

I think that the $40 for the 2091 is the old ROMs, and $50 for the newer A2091s

The board and RAM alone would cost $140 new (That's with the latest ROMs), I'd say $100-$120 for the board and RAM, I don't know about the hard drive.
