Recently I had a problem with playing animations in a multimedia program that I was working on. All of the images and animations were carefully prepared with the same palette with none of the colors in the images utilizing the first or last 10 colors. Everything ran fine until I tried to run the animations. There would be a palette shift with one color every time. After plenty of work, I figured out that one color in the animation was briefly being substituted on load and unload with color 3 in the palette, which was not being used by the animation. How can I avoid this problem? Is it a bug? I'm very nervous when distributing my multimedia because I can't be sure that tomorrow another color will be changed out. My solution this time was to copy the color that was being substituted to position 3 of the palette, which worked. Brent Bonet – POP! Multimedia Atlanta

Hi Brent, It's not clear which player you are using that showed this behavior. Jonas[ADESK]

I'm calling the AAPLAY.DLL from the multimedia program I use. It runs under windows. Brent Bonet – POP! Multimedia Atlanta
