I am looking for a new video card for my VL bus DX2-66. I have version 3.0 of
3D-studio and have seen a few video card names floating around e-mail and was
looking for suggestions from anyone.
Also, has anyone tried any of the Hercules cards?

Thanx, another card I would like to try is one by matrox. Its about $1000.00.
Theres so many new cards out there.

Check out the STB Pegasus VL. It's a real price/performance leader at $849.00.
It uses the S3 928 chip and comes with 4 meg of VRAM and BNC connectors, as
well as a VGA feature connector. You can talk to the guy who designed it over
on the STB forum and the card comes with a lifetime warranty. I bought it so I
could do 24-bit color in Windows at 1024×768 and it's FAST (39 million Winmarks
in 24-bit color)! I only paid $639.00 for my card and I would put it up
against the pricier Matrox Impression VL any day.

version.
