Having some harddrive problems. After having my computer run for
15-20 minutes the screen will blink and then lock up, or it will go
completely blank. Sometimes a cold reboot will get me some more
time, sometimes I just have to wait awile. I have ran the computer
without the harddrive and the problem goes away. I have also cleaned
the connectors on the expansion slot. I have also heard the fan in
the harddrive slow down and speed back up. Have I covered all the
avenues before I start whining to you? By the way, I have a GVP
A500-HD8+ with 2megs of simms installed. On the bright side. I have
