I missed the beginning of this so I'm guessing at the question, but Pratt
Institute also teaches 3ds (just inside NYC) (-g) at their Manhattan campus.
486's – about 30 machines – PAR recording to videotape. I think SVA (the School
of Visual Arts) in Manhattan does also. Pratt has some Silicon Graphics
machines in Brooklyn as well.
