#Wacom driver
4 messages in this thread
I have Animator pro, and I'm looking for a driver for a Wacom SD-510C pad. I'ts
the 9×12 pressure sensitive cordless one. Is there one? If so, where can I get
it? If not what can I do about getting one? This is a pretty common pad.
Thanks in advance,
Tim Miller
Also, I left a message previously that wasn't answered, and has now
disappeared. I'm thinkin' maybe it was because I haven't sent in my
registration yet and you-(ADESK)- might think I have a hot copy. If so, just
tell me and I'll leave the serial no. (I'm gonna send in the registration, but
I just got the software)

Just load the supplied drivers then go to the configuration option (under
Extras pull-down, I think) and tell AAPro you're using the Wacom. The pressure
sensitive function only works with the spray tool but it very nice to draw
with. If you have trouble, delete the AA.CFG file in \ANI and try again.

I tried that of course, however every time the program would freeze
up after a few seconds of movement and then I'd have to reboot. The
only way I could get it to work AT ALL was to set the pen in msmouse
emulation, and run APRO with the default mouse driver. However this
is not perfect, I'm having some finding the proper scaling for the
pad and pen. I need a real driver. They must make one, this is a
real popular pad. Thanks anyway.
Tim,
I'm having the exact same problem with my Wacom sd-422. I've followed the
proper configure steps but, like you the program hangs after just a few
seconds. I'd really like to hear the answer to this one! Soon!
Do we need an updated Wacom.idr?
