Greg, yes it was a memory problem- after much tweaking we managed to
get network running. However, the network (Novell Netware Lite) won't
recognize most drives on other machine-(2 machines)- from either one
to the other. Strange- it could be a Novell problem but they have
not yet thought of a cause.
Another problem- since installing R.3 it sometimes crashes on the
first rendering or file viewing after starting program- sometimes the
second or, rarely, the third time also. But it behaves just fine
thereafter. But tinight, while rendering a series of TGA's to disk
the system crashed and I found the following message: (I'm not making
this up)- "Cheap stack dump linked in => no dump. Aborting…" I
rebooted and am now rendering the remaining TGA's and so farood…
