I am new to Compuserve and was wondering if how I may increase the speed of downloading files. I am currently using an Amiga 2000HD running Workbench 1.3, Baud Bandit 2.0 software, BaudBandit.device serial device program by Christian Buckner, a SMART ONE 1440FX fax modem and using X-Modem-1K protocal. The speed at 9600 baud is 550 CPS. When I log on to GENIE network I can get speeds up to 1000 CPS using ZModem. Is there some other protocal on Compuserve that I can use for faster downloads. Is there a Amiga specific terminal program for Compuserve like there is on GENIE that will allow me to take advantage of Compuserve's fast Compuserve B protocal? Any answers to my questions would be greatly appreciated.

There are many programs that support CIS B+ protocol. Take a look at BackTalk which is available in the Communications library of AmigaUser. Steve
