Reading about the 2091 jumper settings (121426 S11/Amiga Hardware) made me get out the screwdriver to have a look at my 2091, hard drive and floptical. I wanted to make sure that parity checking was turned on for all of them. The 2091 has a jumper for that (J5 option 2 off), my old Quantum has a jumper labeled EP (enable parity) to turn on its parity checking, but my DMI / Insite I325VM floptical drive doesn't have any obvious markings for parity checking. There are 7 pairs of pins / jumpers labeled E1 to E7. Presumably the first 3 (E1 to E3) are for SCSI ID since they are plugged into the SCSI ID thumb switch. E6 also has a jumper on it. Did any of you get any documentation explaining what the jumpers do? I didn't :-(. – Alex
