Has anyone had any problems using the Number 9 GXE Level 14 with Windows 3.1
and/or 3D Studio (any version). When I first tried using the card with Windows
in any mode above 8 bit (256) colors, my mouse disappeared. After calling
Number 9 about it, they sent me a new Beta Windows driver that fixes a bug that
the card has with non "buss mouse" computers. But I still can't seem to get it
to work with 3D Studio in any mode above 8 bit (256) color. When I try, I get
several vertical bars. I've tried both the Vibrant and the Number 9 video
drivers and still get the same result. I've tried using a very basic
autoexec.bat and config.sys setup and even removed the sound blaster card but
still get those bars. I've tried using the exact same card in a computer with a
buss mouse and had no problems at all. Any ideas.
