Running Corelscsi 1.2, IN2000 Scsi board, NEC 74 cdrom, DOS 6, Win 3.1, DTK 486/50 cpu, 32 megs memory, Orchid Fahrenheit 1280 plus vide o board. Have latest driver from Always BBS. I have excluded the rom from dos & windows memory. Have tried both qemm 7 and emm.sys memory managers. Under dos, I can sometimes access text files and the directory, but cannot execute an exe file from the cd-rom. Windows just hangs when I have the aspi driver loaded. Your utilities find the cd-rom as unit 1 (my maxtor 1.2 gig hard drive is unit 0), and will do such things as eject the disc. The cd-rom worked fine with it's Trantor scsi board, but I have been fighting for weeks to get it to work with the Always board. Always says I have the right combination. I bought Corelscsi mostly at their reommendation to try and get this working. Any ideas? Anyone with a similar configuration that does work?

When running Windows, start it with this option /D:FSVX If this solves the problem of not being able to start windows then type WIN /?. This will describe the switch and what you will have to change to get it to work. (changes in the system.ini) I hope this helps. Laszlo
