I was told to post this problem in this section…. I just installed Artshow 3 and when I try to run it, I get to the topic selection screen OK but then whatever I select results in an error message indicating a GP error in WSPDT768.DRV at 0007:133F Any suggestion will be welcomed, the book looks so good I'm anxious to try some of those images. Wayne, If you are using a sound card then you will probably get a GPF. This can easily be resolved though. 1) open MEDIA PLAYER (accessories window, looks like a reel of film) 2) Perform a File Open from the Artshow CD ROM 3) Change directories to the MIDISOFT directory. 4) Double click on any MID file. 5) Click on the play button. 6) Disable the warning in the future (dialog that appears.) 7) Click OK 8) Music starts playing if you are set up to play midi 9) Press stop 10) Try ARTSHOW again If that doesn't work, try using standard Windows VGA drivers. If thazt solves the problem look for a video driver update. I hope these suggestions help. Laszlo

Bryan; I tried a different video driver and that did the trick. I am assuming ArtShow3 relies on some new video driver features that some of the older drivers do not support? Thanks for your prompt and accurate assistance. Wayne
