Corel SCSI & Pro Audio
1 messages in this thread
Hello,
I am having problems reading my Syquest cartridge that was formatted using a
clients computer system (so that I could transfer an application with changes
created on-site). I returned to my office and discovered that the scsi drivers
for my Pro Audio 16 board would not recognize the cartridge. My Syquest
connections are properly connected as my other cartridges are recognized with
no problems. Are there drivers for the Pro Audio 16/spectrum that would enable
the Syquest to recognize the cartridge? Or should I attempt removing my Pro
Audio card temporarily and replacing it with an Adaptec 1542b. The clients has
shipped copies of everything in their Coreldrv directory to me so that it
might help read the 88mb cartridge. On trying the install; a Corel error
message stated that it had problems seeing the install config file. I've also
manually attempted to place the aspidrv.sys in my config.sys but I have no idea
of the operands that can follow the "sys" statement that would enable the
proper emulation? No documentation. I do not plan on keeping anything the
client has sent me, it is only in the urgency of loosing the most current
working program that this must be solved ASAP. If all else fails I guess I can
always travel back to Ottawa to do the work on-site as client looks on (eeghhh
how spooky!!!).
Please help in any suggestions ASAP as I must rectify the problem pronto to do
further changes to my application.
Thankyou
J.S.
