Hello again collegues,
I later put in my Adaptec 1542b card and am getting either a parity error 1 or
the system freezes in my config.sys when the Corel ASPIDRV.sys is activated. it
sees the card and identifys the id and such but stops at the version # and
freezes the config.sys. My Pro Audio 16 is no longer in the system and all
drivers with reference to it have been "remmed" in my config.sys. The
Adaptec's BIOS is loading at the start of the but then flashes a message that
my "c" and "d" drive are already active and my scsi BIOS has not been
installed. I am loading the CorelSCSI driver with the "ldevice
c:\coreldrv\aspidrv.sys" but get the same reaction as if it were included in
the config.sys with a "device=" command at the start of the system document.
I've not got any further. Will one of the other supplied drivers work with the
Syquest 88mb and still with the Adaptec 1542b without having me reformat the
cartridge with my only copy of the application?
Please if anyone has suggestions throw them my way. I need to get this up and
running by tuesday Nov. 23, 1993
