#ProDraw
4 messages in this thread
Several months ago I contacted Gold Disk about a problem printing a
ProDraw page to a Postscript file. I havent heard anything from them
about. Does anyone know of a fix on this problem. I output the page
to a file, bring it into work via a DOS disk, then print it out using
Adobe Illustrator. It works fine with ProPage files, but I always get
an error message with a ProDraw file.
You did not say what error message You get when You tried printing
the document. Perhaps this is an error in the PDraw-Prologue-File
(PDRAW:DATA/pdpsprlg) I dedected just after updating to version 3.0
some times ago?
(286) /initpage {
(287) gs
(288) mir {pagexsize 0 translate -1 1 scale} if
(291) 0 pageysize translate
(292) 0.96 -0.96 scale
(293) } bdef
The line 288 of the pdpsprlg (V3.01, July 15 1992) must be read as
(288) /mir {pagexsize 0 translate -1 1 scale} def

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't remember what the error was, it has
been so long. I figured it must be in the prologue file also, because
I could save the page as a clip, and then import it into Professional
Page and it would print OK. I'll make t he changes and let you know
if it worked. Again, thank you very much. (Actually, my name is John

meet you.
I tried your suggested repair of the ProDraw prdrpsplg and it worked
like a charm. Thank you very much. I always hated not being able to
use ProDraw because of its lack of postscript output, and having to
save every page as a clip and importing it into Professional Page was
a real hassle. Again, thanks. Peace to you and your family
throughout the holidays.
