Hello,
Does anyone know where I can get some info on creating Anim7 & Anim8
files? I have not been able to locate any info on the specs for
generating these animation file formats. I also need information on
programming graphics in 3.0. Has Commodore written any new RKM books?
Can I get this info anywhere else?

A program called viewtek (shareware) will convert anim8 and anim5's into anim7.
As far as creating anims…Art department pro comes with a program called FRED
(frame editor) it will allow you to turn separate picture files into anim
format. Axiom software makes a program called Anim Workshop which will do the
same thing. In my opinion Art department pro is a must for any serious Amiga
graphics user, I cannot speak for Anim workshop, but Axiom makes a product
called Pixel 3d pro, an interchange program for 3d file types. This product is
absolutely fantastic. If Anim workshop is half as nice as Pix3dpro it would be
worth the investment.

Thanks for the info, but I am looking for the specs of the anim7 file
format, so I can write a program to read & write these file formats.
