I was reading through the flitape manual it talked about how flitape will
automatically calculate how many frames of videotape to record for each frame
of a flic based on the number of jiffies. Does this mean if my flic plays back
at speed 10 for example, flitape will call up each animation frame and
automatically lay it down for the correct number of videotape frames (calling
up a single flc picture, recording it for a number of frames, then advancing to
the next frame of the flic)?
I was planning on just renting a frame accurate videotape deck when I need to
record, but I will probably buy a rgb to ntsc converter. What should I look for
when making this purchase? Also, what else do I need once I have the vtr and
the converter?
As you can probably tell, video transfer is very new to me. Any help on these
questions and animation recording in general would be greatly appreciated. I
don't really know what I'm doing!
Thanks!
