Steven, I am an InfoChannel dealer here in Chesapeake. InfoChannel is a VAR package that is extended to support communications between master systems and dedicated player systems. The display engine InfoChannel uses is what SCALA sells as SCALA MM2xx and now SCALA MM300. I can say without a doubt it is one of the most versatile and powerful Amiga multimedia packages in existance. I dare say it is better than any on any platform. To your questions: 1. Will SCALA be able to do 15+ fps animation back on an AGA machine? . Absolutely. AnimLab which comes with SCALA is a helluva program and in my mind is worth the price of SCALA alone! 2. Frame synchronization with audio triggers on specific frames I do not believe it can do. 3. Stringing together animations? Yep. Animlab will allow that too. 4. SCALA Memory management is excellent. You can really keep your presentations hard disk based with very little penalty. It does pre-loading of animations prior to display and with MM300 you can stream your audio off of the hard disk. Those two features together can create breathtaking presentations. Another feature of SCALA a lot of people miss is the fact that though the interface is nice.. all it really does (the interface) is generate a Lingua program which is a scripting language. So if you can't do something with the interface, you certainly can do it with the script language. One cool feature that helped me solve the a problem with PhonePak and InfoChannel was the ability for InfoChannel (not sure this in SCALA MM300 or not) to generate AREXX scripts by simply saving the file and adding the extension '.arexx'. It will create AREXX code that will drive the InfoPlayer! Truly an amazing program from an amazing company. A company that I wouldn't mind being part of one day. 😉 -mark= Otto Pilot Engaged..
