Have been using this Logitech Mouse with AniPro 1.3 since I purchased the program. Mouse Driver is dated 10/92 and is an update since my original driver. I have become an expert at hitting the EC31 to keep the mouse drive installed. I re-installed the program thinking that maybe it needed to catch the difference in the driver..still no go on keeping it installed. It works for a while and then dies. This mouse and driver work great in all my other programs that use a mouse, Windows and Dos. Any help in keeping the mouse working in AniPro will be appreciated. Logitech Mouse Test says all is fine, yet with this program it is a constant EC31. Computer 486DX2/66, 8 meg ram, Local Bus, 25 Meg free on HD, AniPro reports 4 megs free after loading a 50 frame flc. Dos 6.2 NO DOUBLESPACE. Single speed Philips CD with drivers loaded high. Base memory 580K. Mouse driver not loaded high. If more information needed..Will supply. Thanks……………………..Jane

It sounds like you are getting a memory conflict when you run AAPRO. To see if this is the case: REM all the lines in your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT except FILES, BUFFERS, PROMPT, and mouse. Doan't load a video driver or anything. Run AAPRO and see if you still get the problem. Most likely you won't. Then just put lines back in one at a time until you identify what is conflicting with the Mouse when AAPRO is running.

Thanks Brian, Will try and report back. Strange that I have not had this problem before. It appears with AniPlay and AniConv too. Guess I should also check and see if Logitech has any new drivers..or Autodesk has any. I admit my mouse is old stuff but it has served me well over the years and IMHO still the best mouse in the house. 🙂
