>> SPLIT AND SCREWED UP IMAGES W/ DISK TO VTR — NEED HELP ! It sounds like you may need to exclude certain memory address from your memory manager. Exclude D000-DFFF to start. If that doesn't help, verify that your hard drive controller is working flawlessly. You may want to remove any disk caching utilities like Smartdrv. Also, run scandisk or a good disk surface testing utility to verify the integrity of your hard drive. – Dave Dave : Thank you for your response . I need to give more information about my problem. This happen on a random bases, for example a job with 300 to 400 frames I will see 3 to 4 screwed up frames. I looked at the bad files with view – image and they are just fine. To show you how I have my system configured here are lines from autoexec.bat and config.sys — (auto) SET RDPADI=C:\3DS3\DRIVERS\RDPTPLUS.EXP — ( config ) DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM386.SYS X=F000-FFFF X=E000-EFFF RAM DEVICE=c:\QEMM\LOADHI.SYS /R:2 C:\TPLUS\targap.sys b0 i270 me r2 w2 s2 d6 There is also a bat file created by TCONFIG I called 512-486.bat , this set up the card 512 / 486 resolution NTSC OVERSCAN and as you can see from the config.sys line I have add 2 wait states. I contacted Targa and they have no solution at this time , how ever they are going to try reproduce this problem.

*** DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM386.SYS X=F000-FFFF X=E000-EFFF RAM DEVICE=c:\QEMM\LOADHI.SYS /R:2 C:\TPLUS\targap.sys b0 i270 me r2 w2 s2 d6 *** Is there a specific reason you are using Read, Write and I/O wait states of 2? Bill
