I have a problem with network rendering giving me false information.
i.e. telling me machines are running when they are not, machines
have failed when they haven't, entries are complete when they are not
etc. etc. etc.
Our network is working fine using Novell Lite to link 5 systems
together. A way to reset everything back to normal is by going out
of slave mode and then going back in to slave mode. As you can
imagine this is a bit tedious! but it seems to be the only way
around the problem. Using Update doesn't have any effect with the
above scenarios, nor clean (because it thinks nothing has failed).
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The 3DSNET.SET ihas all the default values apart from network directories and
user names.
It sounds like you might have a time synchronization problem. Best to continue
this discussion with Jonas and Brian, since they're the network experts around
here.
