Does anyone know of any research that is being done in Geophric Inforamtion
Systems? If so can you leave the name of the research institution. I know of
some work being done in Colorado.
There are probably hundreds of establishements around the world researching
GIS. Two periodicals available ( in the UK at least) are:
Mapping Awareness
(I don't have a copy handy)
GIM (Geodetical Info Magazine)

Both are glossy-format general/ industry/ applications journals ( ie, not pure
academic), but both carry some technical articles. Looking at these mags would
point you towards who is working on the particular areas you are interested in.
