I am trying to make a man lifting weights. i have linkled his parts in the following order: (child to parent) : Foot -> shin -> thigh -> pelvis (both left and right) Chest -> pelvis Hand -> wrist -> uparm -> Chest (both left and right) head -> chest now… I want to make him bend to pickup the weights. My questions are : 1. can i pull his pelvis down towards the stage and his legs will bend ? (i have tried to reverse the link tree Pelvis->thigh->shin->foot->stage but then the pelvis is the child and i can't connect it to the other leg, because then it will have two parents.) 2. How can I "glue" his foot to the stage? Every time i make him bend his foot doesn't stay glued to the surface. With Thanks Sus.

Hi Sus, << 1. can i pull his pelvis down towards the stage and his legs will bend ? 2. How can I "glue" his foot to the stage? Every time i make him bend his foot doesn't stay glued to the surface. >> Please download flip.zip from the Mesh/Project File section of the lib. In that IK example, I'll show you how I got the legs to bend correctly and how I was able to "glue" the legs to the diving board.. Please check it out and keep asking questions. jonas[adesk]

I have made the man lift his weights and it turned out GREAT, but then I came across another problem : I wanted to place his weight pole in his hands frame by frame (and not in link) and then I thought : Is there a way to zoom in and lock a object (like his pole for exmp.) and then i will lock on his hand from the left view and place the pole in his hands frame by frame. With Thanks Sus.

After solving, you could keyframe the fingers frame by frame if you wish…. jonas[adesk]
