#missing TOON11.ZIP
4 messages in this thread
I was looking for a filename TOON11.ZIP which was once in GRAPHSUPP forum
Graphic Demos. However, that forum does not exist anymore. They told me that
it was probably moved over to here someplace. I couldn't find it in the
libraries, nor could I find it if Graphic FileFinder.
I got the filename from Graphic FileFinder on Saturday Oct 29.
Any idea where this file has disappeared to??
Dan,
The Graphics File Finder is updated weekly, and does not reflect changes made
once it's updated. I split our products last week and opened this forum on
Wednesday, so until they deign to update the database it'll be a bit off.
My offline database only shows two GIF files in our 27 forums with TOON in the
name. Can you give me some more information on the file? If it didn't show up
in GRAPHFF, it's likely no longer online, as there would at least be a
reference to it in its older location.
A clarification: Our Graphics Support Forum most certainly exists; two
libraries from it were moved here, is all.
well, I can't find anymore info about the TOON11.ZIP file. It was a program
that allowed you to do cartoons on the PC.
I have a project that we're looking into to. We need to place some pictures
of cartoons (probably GIFs) in a program suitable for children (ages 3-8) to
use. They need to be able to read the pictures in sequential orde (either
forward or back) just like reading a regular comic strip. The program could be
DOS or Windows, but it needs to be _very_ user friendly, and very small to fit
on a 1.44 disk with about 68 compressed GIFS on it also.
ANy suggestions?
Dan,
I'm running a search right now (Ah, Windows) on our file-submissions database
to see when TOON11 made it to our shores.
It was uploaded in June to GRAPHSUP 3 (Graphic Viewers) by Michael J. Henderson
[74514,47]. It may, of course, have moved since then, especially given that it
didn't really fit the focus of that library.
If the file isn't showing up, you may want to contact him by CompuServe mail
for a copy.
