greg, I got a Cirrus Logic CL-GD5422 card and I dont now if it is VESA
1.2 compliant. I use PICMAN to render 640×480 24bit image fro
VISTAPRO 3.0 in a TIFF format for IMAGINE, I use VISTAPRO to create a
background, and I have no problem with VISTAPRO or PICMAN but when I
generate in IMAGINE I get the background image, and it is a little
like the camera is zooming I get the center of the image and the form
I created in IMAGINE is much bigger than the view in the stage
editor, today I try to set the camera view in IMAGINE in a very wide
angle, and I got better result but I still didn't got the full
background picture. For background I was a Commercial Pilot for 6
years, dto college.Fascinated with computer anim since I begin 6 mth
ago. Thank you very much for your help.

You should be able to see if your card is Vesa compliant, and which
version by running MSD.EXE at the dos prompt. If MSD.EXE is not in
your DOS directory then it's either in the Windows or System
directory (provided you have them). Run it, click on VIDEO ADAPTOR,
and you should see some info on your card.
First make sure that in the stage editor you have the Camera View from
the menu selected so that you are actually seeing what the camera is
seeing. If thats not the problem, and you are using CAMERA VIEW from
the menu, then do try the universal Vesa Driver to see if that fixes
it.

I had the same card. It's VESA 1.1 or 1.01 or something. Just use univesa from
Amiga Vendor Forum (I have uploaded it there) to "upgrade" you card to VESA
1.2.
