Doug, I have been looking high and low for a quality 24 bit 2D animation package for about $1000 or less. I think that Autodesk is missing a hugh market by not making AnimatorPro a 24 bit program. I won't buy it because of that. Right now I use Animator and Azeena Technologies Animation Paintbox. I think Azeena is working on a 24 bit version. There are only two other 24 bit programs in the 2D realm that I know of (I am only versed in PC and Mac). The Animation Stand from Linker Systems – in July it was Mac only and sold for $3,000. Linker Systems 13612 Onkayha Circle, Irvine, CA 92720; PH 714-552-1904 Animo from Cambridge Animations Systems – in June it was $15,000 (I don't know what platforms it supports) Cambridge Animation Systems 3 Kings Parade, Cambridge, UK CB2 1SJ PH 0233-311231; FAX 0223-350286 Hope that is some help and in your price range.
