I just received my imagine disks in the mail (cool package), and I would like to create a bunch of glass spheres. Do I do this by attaching an attribute to an object and then selecting the appropriate color for glass? If not, how? Thanks!! Frank, Create your object. Have it selected and go into the ATTRIBUTES requestor. In there you can assign the object whatever properties you like. Change the filter values to something high..say 200 for R,G,B. This will make it transparent. Now give is an index of refraction (1.52 is Crown Glass, 1.61 is Flint Glass, etc). This will bend the light as glass does. Give it some reflectivity, say 80 for R,G,B. You now have a crude piece of glass when you RAY TRACE it. I say crude because glass has many variables that you can control to get different looks. You should make it somewhat reflective, give it a high specularity and a hardness value. Be sure to read the manual where it discusses the ATTRIBUTES requestor to see how all the paramaters work. -GreG
