Mike, I have just purchased Imagine 3.0 ( 5 days ago ) from Meridian Software in London I thought they would send me the latest version 3.1 but didnt. How do I go about getting an upgrade to 3.X ( or the 'Constant Upgrade' ) I received no registration forms to fill in. Id rather not give credit card details via compuserve ? Also how much does this cost ( Seeing as ive just bought an old copy – get a feeling Ive been slightly ripped off. ) I live in Kent/England will this affect price – do i need to phone Impulse direct ? ( BTW GreG Tsadilas gave me your name to get this information ) Thanks in Advance. PS – I havent used compuserve much – how do i make a message private or does it when I address it to a 'Person' ???? Apologies for so many questions. Mark Buddle.

Hi Mark! I think the way Impulse's CONSTANT UPGRADE program works is that there are no real interim versions except for those who subscribe to it. I guess that would mean that officially Imagine only exists in full numbered releases ie. 2.0, 3.0, 4.0. I don't work for Impulse so I may be wrong about this. The CONSTANT UPGRADE like purchasing the upgrade to the next version in advance, and for doing that you get to play with the interim versions leading up to it. It's like a beta/upgrade program. It's well worth it in my opinion since you are guaranteed the next version as well as the updates in between. I prefer this method since it's a set amount and a set number of upgrades that I'm guaranteed to receive, and includes the next full release! Mark No problems here, public messages are just fine. Dont feel ripped off, you have the most current version of Imagine If you wish to be on the service program that allows you to get four versions of the software from May of 94 to May of 95 the last version of which will be 4.0 simply mail us the funds in US dollars, $100.00 to be exact, we will ship you straight away, Imagine 3.1 and then soon to follow 3.2 and so on until you have version 4.0. Meridian is doing a great job and as of yet I dont think they have done anything improper, they indeed are doing as we have asked and we appreciate the support that they have given us. Call them and tell them so, they are nice chaps and deserve a pat on the ole back now and again. Cheers Mike Halvorson

I agree they (Meridian) are doing a good job – ( Did i say they dont ? ) – they were prompt / polite etc…. Do you have a phone number for any one at Impulse so I can order over the phone (By credit card for instance) this would save time etc. If This is unavailable how do I find out the address to send my spon's too. Thanks for your help. Mark Buddle. By the way I think Imagine is pretty 'Pucker' Well done Impulse.

Mark, CONTAC.TXT in the Imagine library has all ordering and telephone numbers for Impulse. If you can't access 800 numbers from overseas you can call the 612-425-0557 number. -GreG
